Warranty Policy

Effective Date: July 27, 2018


Acceptance

You accept this Warranty Policy when you purchase equipment offered for sale by 800-4GPS at one of our physical locations, on our website and all related sites or via our authorised resellers. We may amend this Warranty Policy at any time by posting a revised version on our website. The revised version will be effective as of the published effective date.


Warranty

All equipment supplied by 800-4GPS or an authorised agent of 800-4GPS will be covered by a twelve (12) month warranty against any manufacturers’ defects unless specifically stated otherwise.

All equipment is installed at clients’ own risk and should not be modified by clients in any way. Any ‘faults with’ or ‘damage to’ the equipment deemed to be caused due to clients’ negligence or non-performance of any terms and conditions herein will not be covered by this warranty. Clients will be responsible for any and all repair and/or replacement costs of equipment incurred as a result of damage to the equipment deemed to be caused due to clients’ negligence or non-performance of any terms and conditions herein.

Replacement of equipment under warranty by 800-4GPS does not extend the warranty period.

From time to time 800-4GPS or its authorised agents may require access to the client’s vehicle(s) and/or premises to install and maintain the equipment used to provide services. Clients agree to allow 800-4GPS or its authorised agents, reasonable access to its vehicle(s) and premises and use of equipment, space, and electricity at no charge, as is necessary. 800-4GPS may replace or alter the equipment used to provide services, so long as the basic technical parameters of the services are not altered.
